Chief Executive Officer
Zak Nugent is the Chief Executive Officer of Scalar. He actively manages the day-to-day operations of the firm. Before joining Scalar, Zak was the President and Chief Executive Officer of America Home Today. Zak received his B.S. in Economics from the University of Utah.
Matt Tillotson is a Managing Director of Scalar and oversees all of the firm’s valuation, financial reporting, and transaction advisory engagements. He has valued nearly 1,000 venture-backed companies for tax, compliance, litigation, and estate planning purposes. Matt graduated Cum Laude with a B.S. in Finance from Brigham Young University.
General Counsel & Head of Litigation Consulting
Mitch is General Counsel and Head of Litigation Consulting of Scalar. He has spent his professional career performing business valuations, quantifying damages for litigation, and assessing litigation risk. Mitch previously served as a Vice President in Duff & Phelps’ Litigation Consulting Group and a litigation risk analyst for a division of Credit Suisse. Mitch graduated Cum Laude from Brigham Young University with a B.A., MBA, and JD.
